IWPE will be held at the Huazhong Agricultural University (HZAU) at No.1 Shizishan Street, Hongshan District, Wuhan, Hubei Province, China.

HZAU was founded in 1898 during the reign of Emperor Guangxu (1871-1908) of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) by Zhang Zhidong, the then-governor of Hubei and Hunan provinces, as the Hubei Farming School in China. In 1979, it was designated as a key national university directly under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs by the State Council. In 1985, the university got its present name. It became a national 211 Project key university in 2005 and a national "double first-class" construction university in 2017. (Website: https://en.hzau.edu.cn/). HZAU is located in the main urban area of Wuhan, Hubei province in central China.

There are two main options for traveling from WHU Airport to HZAU: taxi and subway. For taxis, electronic payments via Alipay or WeChat are widely used, although cash is also accepted. As for the subway, ticket machines accept cash, and some also take bank cards. However, e-payment remains the more common method at these machines as well.
